Yes. Hosts set the minimum booking duration when configuring each hub. For charging, the minimum can be set to 30 minutes or 1 hour — giving drivers enough time for a meaningful charge without holding a space too briefly. For parking, you can set any number of hours as your minimum, depending on what works best for your site — useful for car parks that work better with half-day or full-day sessions rather than short stays.
De Energy Hub app has check-in and check-out built in. When you arrive, check in through the app — your session starts, the charger or space is marked as active, and a timer shows your remaining time so there's no more guessing when your session ends.
During a live charging session you can see energy delivered in kWh, time elapsed, and cost so far. When you check out, a full summary is saved to your history. You can also view your overall usage to date — total kWh charged and total hours spent charging across all sessions, all in one place.
De Energy Hub app supports all common EV charging standards. Each hub listing shows the charger type and cable so you always know before you arrive whether your vehicle is compatible.
Supported connector types include: Type 2 (AC) — the most common home and public charging standard in Ireland, compatible with the vast majority of EVs; CCS / Combined Charging System (DC) — fast and rapid DC charging for most modern EVs; CHAdeMO (DC) — used by some older Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Kia models; and IEC 60309 (Blue Commando) — the industrial 3-pin plug used at some commercial charge points. Each hub listing shows the connector type so you always know before you arrive whether your vehicle is compatible.
As a host, the app shows you your full bookings list — active sessions happening right now, confirmed upcoming bookings with the user's name and time, and any bookings still pending. Everything is in one place so you always know who is at your charger or parking space and what's coming next.

Pricing details for hosts are available in the app when you create your account. De Energy Hub takes a small platform fee on transactions — you keep the majority of what you earn. There are no upfront listing fees and no hardware costs.
